Private Pilot Certificate Program Cost
Below are the basic
requirements for the Private Pilot Certificate. This certificate is perhaps
the most important one as you grow in aviation. All of your subsequent ratings
and certificates will be built on the knowledge and experience you gain while
receiving this instruction.
Requirements
· 16 years old to solo...17 years old for certification.
· Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
· Pass the required knowledge test (written exam).
· Log 40 hours of flight time of 20 must be with a certified flight
instructor.
· Meet the standard medical requirements (physical exam).
· Pass the required practical test (flight check ride).
What to expect
Prop Boys trains student pilots for preparation of the Private Pilot
Certificate with professional instructors dedicated to efficient and
successful training methods. Your first level goal will be to learn the basic
flight characteristics of your aircraft in preparation for your solo flight.
Usually this takes an average of ten hours. Next you'll start your cross
country phase where you will learn and acquire the skills needed for flight
planning, weather briefing, navigation, communications, and more. The final
stage will be preparation for your check ride. Your instructor will pull
together all that you have learned into a concise study plan to guarantee you
success. During these stages of instruction, you will be receiving for
preparation of the knowledge test (written exam).
